Each 12-hour workshop is divided into six two-hour sessions.
This workshop includes:
- Covers all of the SAT-I
- Overall SAT strategies: understanding the structure of the new test, thinking like the test-makers, and making intelligent guesses
- Critical Reading section strategies including: sentence completion questions, passage-based reading questions, paired reading passages, and SAT vocabulary
- Writing section strategies including: Multiple choice sentence error, sentence improvement, paragraph improvement questions; 25-minute essay organization, pacing, dealing with quotes, prompts, and supporting evidence
- Math section strategies including: Arithmetic, algebra I and II, SAT geometry questions; Proper use of the calculator on the SAT ? when it helps and when it can't; Grid-in questions
- Students bring home: Verbal Exercises booklet, Math Exercises booklet, Study Guide (Reference) book and Practice Tests book
